USC Spring Pub Night

admin |

Date: Wednesday, May 26, 2010
Location: The Constitution Pub, Camdenthe-constitution-pub

Join the London club in its quarterly quest to visit London’s best watering holes.
The Constitution Pub in Camden has a wide and welcoming beer garden which overlooks the canal where we can spend a lovely spring evening (there are heaters and a canopy in case London’s weather doesn’t cooperate). It is known as a very friendly local pub with a regularly changing selection of ales and well-priced pub food. The Constitution is hidden away from the market and busy street and for the last five years has been voted “Best Beer Garden in London” by London in Bloom.

Boston College Game (20th Mar) - A group of us will be meeting at the Sports Cafe Friday night, the 20th, to watch the Men’s Basketball team in the first round of the tournament against Boston College. They will definitely be showing the game, but we won’t know until during the day on Friday if there will be sound. Also, there is usually a small cover charge after 9pm just so you all know. I’ll be there from 10:30pm or earlier.

Also, I have been contacted by the president of the Paris Alumni Club with details of their viewing party. If you happen to be in Paris for the game, then email me and I will pass you the details.

London Walk: Ghosts, Gaslights and Guinness - 18th March

Jennifer | March 13, 2009

The club enjoyed Richard III’s London Walk including a pint at The Lady Drury. We were lucky to be joined by Erin and JP from the Alumni Association who were visiting London on holiday. After the walk, many of us capped off the night at Cafe Pacifico in Covent Garden. We have a few photos posted to our Picasa album.
