Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race - Sunday 29th March
Jennifer | March 24, 2009
One of the great London events, the Boat Race creates a festival atmosphere on the banks of the River Thames. On Race Day up to 250,000 spectators crowd the banks of the Thames from Putney to Mortlake to witness the action.
Reset your clocks to British Summer Time and come early to enjoy the atmosphere. We’ll meet on the grassy lawn just outside of the Old Ship pub near the middle of the course. Look out for the USC banner and a few people wearing USC gear. You’ll be able to get drinks inside the pub.
Date: Sunday 29 March
Time: 2 - 5 pm (the race starts at 3:40pm BST)
Location: The Old Ship . 25 Upper Mall . Hammersmith . W6 9TD . www.oldshipw6.com
